lol. you have to buy the computer that only has 1 program ( a web browser ). and you have to pay a subscription to be able to use the apps and crap. this whole thing sounds like bullshit to me. but there are plenty of stupid people who will buy it just to buy it ( ala ipod, ipad, anything else apple ). so i guess this is a brilliant business venture for google.

The subscription seems to imply that students and businesses will get the laptop for free.

It doesn't look like it'll be overly successful with just this first wave, so I doubt I'd try and get one.
