Hacking Does anyone know how to properly region swap a new 3ds xl emunand?

I really want to change the region of my emunand on my USA new 3ds xl to japan. I have followed a few different tutorials on how to do it and I have successfully changed the region but whenever I try to do the "initial" setup for the new emunand it freezes when I get to the Internet options, what would causes this kind of problem?

I'm not sure how there could be a "few" different tutorials when only one person here has attempt it.

Did you swap the browser cia?

No I didn't swap the browser cia, would I just install the japanese one and delet the us one

I would assume, I usually swap jap to usa and have never had a problem. There is a thread in the guide section that has all the files for jap to usa you can always cross reference to find the usa to jap files to make sure you have it right
