Hacking Does Anyone know how to play emulator roms from a dvd?

Hi i have a 4.2U wii with DVDx installed but i can't seem to get the nes emulator to read the roms from a DVD. It doesn't seem to really try to read it even.. less than 3 seconds. I have tried burning from Imgburn and Nero. The program just says DVD unreconized format.. Please help I'm pulling my hair out lol.

if using dvd+r then did you remember to set the boooktype to dvd-rom?

Can you dvds in any other app or play backups?

First update HBC to latest version, 1.0.8. DVDX is obsolete and no longer supported because AHBPROT inside of HBC 1.0.8 does the same thing.

Afterwards update NES emulator to the latest.

I can play backups no problem and I have the latest of HBC and NES already.. any other ideas?

do you have ios58 installed? if not, then install a clean copy, get it nus downloader or modmii.

other than that, does the dvd read in a pc? try reburning on different media. use a different burner.

can your wii read dvd backups?

Also, did you burn it like

DVD\fceugx\roms

Where all the roms is in this folder structure?

Make sure that you download fceugx and overwrite all files (not just boot.bin).
