Ok I have a Samsung Digimax s500/Cybershot530, it is the only video player I have for the moment, would anyone of you know a way how to convert a movie trailer/ any oter .avi or .mov to a video this Camera could read?

Edit/All I basically need a video converter that will change a video file into a .avi with a 640x480

Most video conversion apps will do it, the problem will likely come trying to find a compatible codec/standard.

Chances are it would not be MPEG2, MPEG4 ASP (divx, xvid and co) but maybe something like Windows media 9 or if you say quicktime perhaps some of the quicktime stuff.

If you have the manual or can run an AVI through something like GSpot and tell us what it comes out as I can direct you further.

One thing though, do not pay for anything as I am 99% certain you can do things better and for free with freeware stuff.
