Ive read about the fake overclocking apps that are housed in Cydia, but is there no REAL overclocking? Like a custom kernel or something? I cannot find any.

Buy an Android device.

There's not a lot of reasons to overclock iDevices. The only one I can think of is maybe slightly faster speeds in emulators, but other than that it's pointless seeing how all software is tailored to work on iOS.

Thanks. heres what ive found.
iOverclock is used to disable stepping the processor. Like underclocked apps in the background. Also it doesnt slow down in sleep mode.
Fakeoverclock and speed intensifier speed up the animations of the phone, not the actually phone CPU.

The answer is no.
We can't make a custom kernel for iOS to my knowledge and the stock iOS kernel won't allow for it. We can only do it on Android because opensource is awesome.
