Does anyone here uses a capture card to play

if yes, what card do you use/recommend? is it external or internal? is it better to get an external card and pay a little more money?
do you prefer it over a second hand 14" tv? my monitor is a 17" CRT and i can buy a second hand 14" tv at like 70$ and a capture card around 35~40$, which one is better a option?
i want it mainly for PS2 and maybe later Wii.

Well I have a Happauge WinTV blablabla capture card, and I often have to sacrifice quality for speed.

The best solution for me so far was the GameBridge, its like 11$ at amazon. Not the best quality but the response time is great.

If you're talking about the delay time, you can get around that by using some different programs other than the one you're provided it with. I use Media Player Classic with my ATI Theater 650 and get zero delay. The picture quality is another matter though.

2- x2vga
3- gamebridge

one other thing is, if i get a usb capture card, is it possible to play Ps2 on my laptop? via usb?

Yes, it is possible on the laptop(with a gamebridge anyway)
