I'm a little bit curious about what's the quality of a 3ds xl housing. I'm currently looking at ebay and I can't tell which 1 is made in china and which 1 is from a savage original 3ds xl(even though title says original housing not from china). I'm thinking of what's the quality? Is it good? Is it well made? My 3ds xl have a hairline crack on its right hinge(never had got it drop). I just noticed it had a crack and It might get worse so I'm thinking if a would go for a new housing or buy a 2ds. Thank you in advance! More power GBATEMP!

It is doable, I got parts off of eBay and repaired a 3DS XL that had the whole hinge tear off. the quality of the made in China stuff seems fine so far. anyways, the original housing was also made in China.
but, it is challenging to actually disassemble and reassemble a 3DS XL without tearing any of the ribbon cables.

I swear like 99% of arcade games wouldn't even exist these days outside of MAME the arcade machines are old and busted very few ever saw any sort of home conversion
