Gaming Does anyone have problems with the controls for F-Zero X or F-Zero GX on the Wii-U?

Use the Z(L)/R to complements your turn. if you turn with the opposite button (turning left while holding right) you'll take the turn wider and won't bump in the walls.

Holding the shoulder button for the opposite direction seems pretty counterintuitive, is that how you're supposed to play these games? And was it the same on their original consoles?

I checked a couple online guides, and they said that holding the opposite shoulder button like R when turning in a specific direction like left makes you turn sharper, not wider, and that it can make you lose control and speed.
