hi,
i am thinking about getting a xbox360 from the uk. @amazon for 160 pounds

it is around 50 euro cheaper because of the weak GBP.

but will it fit into a german power outlet?

from pictures of the ac adapter i can tell it consists of 2 parts. will i need to buy the whole thing? or will i be able to replace the second part with lets say monitor or computer power cable?

No it won't fit out the box but a converter for the plug or a new power cable will work the same.
The power brick isn't multi-voltage but it runs @ 240V which is standard across Europe.
