I've just bought a really cheap normal 2GB Sandisk MicroSD off ebay. That's before I found out there are fakes lying around, although I also bought my 1GB there.

Anyway, I didn't check the speed first before buying. I would assume it's the same as the 1GB version. Although the 2GB one looks like it is from the same family as the normal 1GB Sandisk, it is much slower. Animal Crossing takes about 5 times as long to load or save. Using Comic Book DS for example, takes forever to load the images as opposed to mere seconds on the 1GB one.

There doesn't seem to be much difference when writing or reading on the PC. So I was wondering whether it's because EZ4 doesn't support 2GB that well, or that it being fake had something to do with it.

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: But I bet that would be more for a flashcart than a consumer repro board.
