maybe this is something to hide something bigger? ô3o idk is a bad trend after all, or something like clow apocalipse movie/seria are going out n a time and this si a promotion thing xp

I've been researching this issue since there was a supposed "clown sighting" in my area.
The thing is, I am finding very little evidence to back up most claims and it seems a good chunk of them are indeed fake. I've also found that this issue has a long history behind it.
Here's a relevant issue to the topic
Still I think the first few cases were most likely hoaxes, then a few copycat cases started popping up to bring some life to these hoaxes. Regardless, it's becoming way overblown.

Maybe it's a way to promote the upcoming It remake. I have noticed headlines about scary clown sightings, and apparently a school banned wearing clown masks. Or was it a whole town? I don't know. I want to watch Killer Klowns from Outer Space now.

true, when my classmates are all like id kick them in the @$$ i get cheezed off for no reason.
