Do you think the 3ds was over priced

    you can get devices cheaper then it that have way better specs like the small amount of ram they put in the console when there are cheaper devices then it with 1gb of ram or more the new 3ds is as about as powerful as an i phone 3 the only thing new 3ds has over it is the dual cores

    Yes. But things like I+D for the 3d screens, marketing, etc, arent free.

    Nintendo is a company, they need to make money, they have to set a price. To make money off that, so no personally i dont

    yeah but 256 mbs of ram looks bad for how new the console is its only about two years old and games can't even use all of it

    well its not the bad graphics its just that you can't have big maps on 3ds games

    Resolution decide much of the memory needs, what if they doubled the resolution in new 3ds and quadrupled the 3d capacity like the iPhone retina....

    Anyway the 3d proprietary screen and even resistive touch means Nintendo is off the mainstream market and has to pay much more for those parts. 2dxl could tap from the cheap phone screens available (though the ultra low resolution probably means it's still proprietary)
