Hardware Do you think Switch would have been even more succesful if it had an external gpu?

Personally, I love my Switch
I'll never sell it unless I really need a new console
But I think it would have been better if it had an external gpu on the dock
Like when in portable mode, you get low/medium graphics quality, and when docked, you get high/ultra quality
don't you think
I personally think it would have stolen a big part of ps4/xbo market share

I wonder if theres really a switch 2.0, if we will be able to buy a dock alone or if well need to buy the tablet too

it all depends on how successful it becomes. every device success which Nintendo had a 2.0

like the Gameboy, GBA, NDS, Wii, 3DS all had new versions with that something a little different

I'd be interested, but I think it's a bad move for Nintendo. Switch with a secondary stationary unit is basically WiiU. Worse, it won't even function without Switch plugged into it, and the GPU itself would be a minimum of $200.

With Switch 2 I think there will be a greater gap between portable and docked performance, but I don't think they're gonna go with a full fat GPU on what's supposed to be a hybrid system.

there are games exclusive to gameboy color, not playable on gameboy, but I see your point

What's to stop Nintendo releasing a "dock plus" with this feature?

Could also mean that you could have a Wii U like experience with the switch and TV having a separate image as well, or a "boosted" docked mode.

Yes but let's me explain: PSX was larger PlayStation device that came out in 1995-6. Later on in the console's life cycle, they released what they call the PSOne, which is basically the same thing, yet it's smaller, came with a DualShock controller.

This is PSOne (PS1). See ? Really, this is basically the same thing as PSX but it's smaller.
