Hi,

Fluoride should be banned from public drinking water.

Here is the latest scientific study showing a potential link between drop in IQ in offspring related to a mother drinking fluoridated water in pregnancy.

Of course, more evidence is required, but its a worrying sign for us all.

High doses of fluoride are bad for you but the amount added to tap water is negligible. I'd be more worried about trace amounts of lead or other heavy metals.

Yup, and so do you. You contain arsenic. If you didn't have trace amounts in your system, you would have serious health issues (same with every element you listed, bar thallium). My point is that in small enough doses, practically anything is ok.

this is Flurosilicic acid: H2SiF6
It contains hydrogen, silicon, and fluoride. Arsenic and lead is found in trace amounts of some fluoride compounds (there are a few, sodium silicofluoride is the only one I know).

Did you read the letters critical of the article? Also, this is only a magazine article, not a scientific paper subject to the peer review process.
