[IMG] Not for me. Me and my brother share a 5MB Up/2MB Down connection.

I seriously got fed up with Dial Up about 3 years ago... Ugh.. 5 KB downloads were not fun.

Nope I use a crappy arse slow 1.5MB connection.

Lot better than dial-up but still too slow.

[IMG] That's not too slow... Better than most connections..

    1.5Mbps? I'm guessing Quest DSL.

Here in australia, 1500kbps is the fastest on ADSL [IMG]

3mbps DSL here. I've seen faster, but it's respectable enough for me. We've had it for years,

314KB per second down and about 56KB per second up.

Yup. It dial-up really sucks. Takes several hours to download one game. I always try to download as much as I can at a friends house. Plus, my parents get really pissed that it blocks the phone line and that important calls might come in.

Usually I start the download, and then while I'm waiting, seriously, I can go out and watch a movie, go-kart, eat at some sushi place and come back, and it will only be 3/4 done. Or I could put a black top hat over my computer, take it off and, voila, a ROM!

Well, when I had Dial-Up, the DS didn't exist yet.

Still, I feel for you man...

~You got any chance of upgrading soon? I have a dime that you're gonna feel alot better if you get a faster connection. [IMG]

I know, I'm trying too. I bug my parents all the time about it. Espicially when they go on. "How come this is going so slow?" "Well, if we had CABLE OR BROADBAND and not DIAL-UP you'd be there right now. And then we'd all be happy" But no, doesn't work.

I'm at 770KB(not Kb) download and 60KB(not Kb) upload, I used to use 150KB DSL recently, and before that, 4 years of 3KB dialup.

    lag is SO underrated! [IMG]

No dial up for a some years already, but my connection is disgustingly overpriced.
