I used to shop at Gamestop before I joined GBATemp, but with all the info I got with piracy, I rarely shop there anymore. The only time I would shop there is if they have good deals on used PS3 games. What about you?

To be honest, I never bought any games at gamestop. It's got nothing to do with piracy though, because where I live their prices are higher than most other retailers.

I usually shop there (well, at the Canadian equivalent anyways), because I don't want to pirate 360 games (too risky, imho) and because I don't have much of a choice in my area =/

I have a good Gamestop and most of the employees are friends of mine anyway so I still shop there since there's always a game that I want but I don't import the game and it usually gets localized.

I'll buy hardware or accessories there, but that's about it. I won't buy games from them since they have a tendency to charge $5 more than anywhere else for them.....at least around here they do.

Nope. I never shop there after I found out about better stores.

I rarely shop for games too... Since I get them"another" way. I rarely shop for Wii games now, since I don't have much interest and at HMV, I got both Halo CE and 2 for XBOX at a cheaper price then EBGames/GameStop.

I shop at Gamestop for the occasional rare PS2 RPG (Like Nocturne), or for 360 games if I can't find a better deal on Amazon.

Occasionally to look for rare used copies and maybe a controller or memory card, some accessory that I need right away. And perhaps new releases, but now I'm relying on Amazon for that.

I get everything else from Amazon and various other vendors as well.

All the time. Whenever theres a game that I want (to buy) I always go to Gamestop. There prices here are the same everywhere. And I'm not an idiot who sells my games to them and complains about it later.

    Oh, snap!

Ahem. I like their used games - pretty cheap. If I don't find a better deal online I'll buy from them. Of course, I buy my consoles there because I don't like waiting for shipping.
