I have a PAL Wii with WiiKey. Have updated to 3.1E firmware on the Wii & the Wiikey to 1.9g. I've then used the 1.3 wiikey setup disk to enable regionfree & have then patched the mario galaxy iso from USA to PAL.
I want to update by using the 10% trick but when i try to update it gets to about 5 or 6% and its says update failed & the wii resets itself.
I then try to load the other iso i burnt which is brickblocked & i get past the title screen but then a blue box pops up from the game saying unable to read disk check wii instruction manual.
Was i not supposed to patch the update iso. Is everyone using a clean galaxy iso to update?
Has anyone used regionfrii on the galaxy disk that is used to update the wii?
I've not got a clean iso as its been patched now with regionfrii & brickblocked so i cant burn it & check.
