I loved spam as a kid, but now I can't stand it. I find it to be barely tolerable if fried and covered in cheese.
(cheap?) separated and processed meat... no thank you lol
to be honest i haven't tried it but i would rather eat higher quality meat...![]()
mmmmm man oh man do I love some pork shoulder in my diet.I never tried the food, but reading the Wiki, ugh...
"According to its label, Spam's basic ingredients are pork shoulder meat, with ham meat added, salt, water, modifiedpotato starch as a binder, sugar, and sodium nitrite as a preservative. Natural gelatin forms during cooking in its tins on the production line.[4] Many have raised concerns over Spam's nutritional attributes, in large part due to its high content of fat, sodium, and preservatives"
Nothing shocking there really.I never tried the food, but reading the Wiki, ugh...

Nononononono but gelatin gives you a 0.0000000001% chance of giving you cancer. Therefor spam is bad and you are harming animals so you should become vegan because logic.Nothing shocking there really.
Pork shoulder = meat
Ham = meat
Salt, water, sugar and starch are present in pretty much everything alive
Sodium nitrate makes meat safer
Gelatin is in most food anyway
So what's the problem? There's much worse in sausages...
You should be more than proud.Not sure if I should be proud or not, but spam is made in my town. We have a spam museum too. Just finished new renovations and it's pretty nice. IMO spam is great on a bagel with scrambled eggs and cheese.
It's pretty neat. There's surprisingly a lot of things to do for it being a meat museum.You should be more than proud.
tbh the Spam Museum sounds pretty cool lol
I had no idea there was a spam museum. Sounds cool! They should advertise more. Like, through mass unsolicited emailIt's pretty neat. There's surprisingly a lot of things to do for it being a meat museum.
