I did a search, found one match and it was actually a misspell of Diablo [IMG]

    Anyone?

I play onehand, offstring and a tiny bit of freehand yoyo but not Diabolo.

I will admit to knowing what it is because I watched the anime Kaleido Star and there is a girl who is a Diabolo user. Cripes. Great anime though.

The thing with string? Yes, I know what it is. Can't do anything fancy with it (like catching or even throwing the thing or even holding it on that string without it falling off... yeah, I suck).

Yeah.. The hourglass shaped toy played with two sticks and a string.

It doesn't look THAT hard, once I learn how to start that thing off (I've seen people rolling it on ground and then rub? with strings, I have no idea how to get the bearing rolling) I could do tricks like the whip, and some other tricks that can be done with offstring yoyos [IMG]

I owned one. Maybe I still have it somewhere.

It's not that difficult to make it turn and jump, but some people use it to make a lot of tricky figures.

Where's the option for "yes and I'm shit at it"? [IMG] We had a small one when we were kids.

I recently went to Cirque du Soleil and one of the performances included a Diabolo. And during the intermission I found one at the concession but I figured it'd have mediocre bearing and overpriced anyway.

Sometime I'm gonna get a sudden urge to get one, and when that happens I'm pretty much getting one =P

I have one of those things sitting around collecting dust somewhere. The basics as in throwing and not getting hit on the head aren't that hard to learn [IMG]

I never expected anyone to know a manga titled Diabolo, a 3 volume comic in Japan? Certainly not as well-known as the cup and stick diabolo [IMG]
