Hacking Do you have any Plugin for PSP that will prolong Battery Life?

Do you have any Plugins or Homebrew for PSP that will prolong Battery Life while playing Games Like Hold+?? i might like that Application but that Turn the LCD Off... or is there any way to Turn Off the Back light?? not lessing the Backlight Power but to Turn it off..just like playing a Gameboy...

A main reason Hold+ works is that it lowers the clock rate to very low levels because playing music isn't demanding.

Games are much more demanding though, and if you lower the clock rate to an extent where it'll have a noticeable improvement on battery life, the games will lag.

A bit late reply, but there's a plugin you can get besides hold+. I believe its actually called psp powersave.
Works pretty well from my experience and doesn't underclock your system.

Well I use it and I hardly see a difference but I think it only improves the battery life by 5% so its not that noticeable. Still its better than nothing.
