Hacking Do saves with normal roms work with trimmed roms?

I want to know whether the saves I have with the untrimmed roms will still work with trimmed roms if they have the same filename?


Also, are there any other side-effects to using trimmed roms?

Trimmed roms are fine, but some low quality trimmers may break some features of the rom. Wi-fi, DS download play, etc. It's recomended you use a good trimmer, I hear Brian Tokyo's trimmer is the best around.

Lol, I dont' even trim my ROMs, don't know why; I did for a while and then stopped. Weird. Anyways, yah the saves work fine. All the trimmer does is remove dummy memory, like just extra space that makes the ROM round up to 64 MB or 32 MB or whatever. Or so I think.

I'm using Tokyo Trim also.
Very fast.

But I'm gonna start using Rominator now, and I was wondering if that rom trimmer is good also?
Is it safe?
Is it fast?
