So, I switched my SD Card just a couple of minutes ago from a 2GB SanDisk SD Card to a 128GB PNY SD Card, and all of the sudden, it just doesn't work, the menus say "The device inserted in the SD Card Slot can't be used", and trying to click on USB Loader GX which I installed to the home menu says that the system files are corrupted, is there a way to fix this, or do I have to mod it again, or do I have to get a different SD Card?

The file type is "exFAT", Is that fine? I've checked the Windows 10 format, and the other option is NTFS, if it's not good, what software should I use to format this? (also, I'm not sure if it's because of the size of the SD Card, because my 2GB sd card works as FAT32) (edit: nevermind, i didn't fully read the last post, i'll try it)

Thank you SO MUCH man, I've really wanted to mod my Wii for a while, and now it's modded! Apparently I already had it installed and just didn't check, it's FAT32 and now it's working! Thanks! (:

Cool game that went into early access yesterday. Still very bare bones but it's got a lot going for it https://store.steampowered.com/app/2400160/Glyphica_Typing_Survival/

@Veho, In the end, portable emulation handhelds are the exact same thing.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Mostly in today's age.

    Wut.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
The hardware is not much different, in my opinion. It can emulate just about anything without needing a CPU upgrade, aside from a re-design.

Retro handhelds aren't really hiding the fact they're just phones with a D-pad. It's all the same SOC, just with different applications.

Exactly. That's what I'm at least trying to point out.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the high-end SOCs are still expensive so they tend to use older stuff, leftover stock and so on.

So KTR is asking, will you guys spring for the Snapdragon,
or should we get some older cheaper chipset.

They probably thought to themselves that the latter would be the better option. Not only to make them easily affordable to produce and buy, but to retain the same performance to competitors.

After all, SoC is the same ones used in Android phones that were made for gaming.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Gen2 is obsolete and probably can get bulk for cheap

In the same way that a Raspberry Pi costs 30 dollars but a project involving a RPi costs at least $100, CPUs are cheap, everything else is a bitch.

3d printing and repurposed screens got cheap so we get neat little devices out of last year's tech it's still a neat way to recycle
