do i need a gamecube controller to navigate throught bootmi?

    hi guys just wondering, because the wiimote turns off everytime i launch bootmii, just for some more info it is the ios version because i cant install the boot2 version.

    Yes. Or, you can browse with the power/reset/eject buttons on the front of the console.

    ok thanks, i have another question, i know this might sound a little bit stupid


    is there any chance to brick my wii backing my nand?, like if there was a blackout and the process do not finish.

    There shouldn't be any risk with backing up your NAND. Restoring with only BootMii/IOS, however, is a riskier endeavor and should only be done as a last resort.

    if your talking about flashing the nand with a nand backup then theoretically moderately high chance because if something is wrong with the nand dump then yes you will have a brick but practically very low because many people have used bootmii to flash a nand backup i even stopped mine halfway be accident and was still able to boot and fix everything after replacing almost every ios just to make sure and the great people at hackmii have beta tested bootmii fairly thoroughly so not a big risk involved

    and its true hatsu i felt kinda bad but not really cause i don't give a fuck about people's feelings its not in the readme unless i overlooked it too
    i would have thought they would have put something that important in the readme
