Hacking Do I have to separate my nands before updating emuNAND?

Just curious. Since my EmuNAND is on 10.6 and latest is 10.7, do I have to separate them again before updating the EmuNAND?

I'm 99.9999999999999.... Percent you do as when you are downgrading the emuNAND, it affects your sysNAND if they are not separated

No you don't have to as far as I know, since there are people that decide not to unlink their nands and have updated their EmuNAND without issue.

I've done lots of linked emunand update by system settings without accidentally updating my sysnand
just make sure you're on emunand before updating

Put 3 fake internet connections with tubehax dns in all 3 of them in sysnand. No update problems with linked nands then.

Yeah, there's a few guides that state having linked NANDs may update your sysNAND. (Aparently there's been some cases where it has happened, but it could have also been user error.)

Don't have to deal with certain things like having to install dsiware/gba games twice. You install them once on emunand and they just work.

Yes you have to unlink nands to update your emunand without your sysnand being updated.If you want to play online as well unlink your nands
