Hacking do anyone of you charge the g6's battery

did the g6 team ever stated how often you should charge the battery. i know the bars in the main menu represent your ds's battery. there is no indicator for the actual g6 battery. i charge my g6 8hrs a month, is that too much or too little, i dont know.

it sounds fine to me. I did that with my g6 3rd gen and the same with my lite since god knows when.....the battery has been fine. The thing charges if you play regularly too.

i don't charge mine, i just use software reset before i turn off my ds so nothing is hanging around in the sram.

that would be fine granted the game supports soft reset. For example you can never do that on mario kart ds.

Never have activly charged my g6 and doubt i will unless i start having problems with it. It has worked perfectly so far and as said above it charges itself when the you play on the ds so I doubt that it's even necessary.

I haven't really went out of my way to charge mine, I just leave it plugged in the usb port for an extra 45 - 60 minutes from time to time.

No, those are the equivalent of the green LED on your DS.

I have never "charged" the g6 battery extra, mainly because people were misled about it to begin with. The internal SRAM battery has a usage life of ~2 years.

Someone said there was only a Full, and Low battery mode in the DS, so no compat. for a bar that shows 90%..80% by stripes?

it's a misleading/useless icon, as it can't do anything more than your green/red LED can.

Yes read the the various posts and the above comments AND the instructions that came with your g6 lite. You charge it by plugging it into the usb burner or while playing games.
