Gaming Do any japanese games have a built in english option?

I think the Dragon Quest 4 game did but it's released in English now so it doesn't matter. Don't know of any other games that do.

Phoenix Wright games 1-3 all have it, although there are already english versions out.

If you press A+B+Left+Select+Y+Right+X in that order, on ANY japanese game, the full thing will magically be translated and fully playable in english.

Some games have partial translations in them. If they exist, you can get a cheat code to use that translation but generally no, you have no english in the JPN games.

you have to build in the option yourself(check translation index) or use a cheat.

the first one yes, that was replacing the japanese files with the english files.
but you can patch a language/region menu into the game, and then you get a full translation.
