I used HP "Double Layer" DVD+R's.

I had a bad burn on the first attempt, but it looks like my second one worked.

I don't recommend these; I just used them because the store that sold 'em was on my way home from work.

Anyone tried Memorex DVD+R DL? Those are the only ones I can found at my local store.
I just burned it at 1x in ImgBurn with a Memorex DVD+R DL 2.4x Disc that I bought in a 3pack at The Source.

The game so far seems to play just fine, however at the very end of the burn in ImgBurn it complained that it could not finalize the disc. I feared I burnt a coaster but I popped it in and it works just fine. The only thing I changed in ImgBurn was the layer break which may or may not be needed, I can't really get a definitive answer on that one.

Look for the 2.4x Verbatim DVD+R DL's that say "Up to 6x speed with compatible drives" on the case. They'll have Made in Singapore on the back.

If you've got a Wiinja or D2CKey you must get a +R either way. They require the custom layer break, which only +R discs support if I understand correctly.

To my surprise, my cheap Office Depot DVD+R DL (RITEKD01) media worked on the first try without a single hitch. Then again, I have one of the best writers so maybe that has something to do with it too. Anyway, here are the rest of my specs:

DMS Wii 3.2U
WiiKey 1.9g (all options enabled in 1.3 config)
Samsung SH-S203B
Office Depot DVD+R DL (RITEKD01) @ 2.4x
ImgBurn 2.4.0.0 - Manual Layer Break 2084960, Booktype DVD-ROM

1) Open DVD burner drive.
2) Insert blank DVD+R DL.
3) Close DVD burner drive.
4) Open .ISO file with ImgBurn 2.4.0.0
5) Click on the "Change Booktype" in the bottom right.
6) Click on the appropriate tab and change DVD+R DL media to "DVD-ROM"... and you might as well do it for DVD+R and DVD+RW too while you're here.
(Note: Your burner might not be able to support this. That doesn't mean it won't work. This step is just to increase media compatibilty.)
7) Click OK.
8) Go to Tools > Settings > Write. Set layer break to "User specified" and type in 2084960.
9) Change write speed to 2.4x.
10) Click on the big button in the bottom left to start burning.
11) Don't use your computer while it's burning!
12) Wait.
13) Eject newly burned disc.
14) Insert into Wii (which should already be updated to 3.2 firmware, and 1.9g firmware for the WiiKey at this point).
15) Let the Wii update from the SSBB disc.
16) Play game after it reboots!

If it still doesn't work, then it's either crappy media, crappy burner, or both. Or maybe a lame Wii laser.

Only if your burner supports DL

Use Google and search your model number. You should be able to find the specs.

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting stran on the ports. Instead of having the porrs along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
