    Dj Portable DS

    Ouendan like homebrew

t4ils has released a new homebrew game that goes by the name of Dj Portable DS.

    How to play :
    • Copy songX.sav files at the root of your flashcard or anywhere else.
    • It uses FAT libs but it's still playable without, it just won't be able to save.
    • In addition to the game there's a song editor.
    • In later releases, the game will be released with full songs.

    The game:

The objective is to hit the right buttons accurately and obtain a score as high as possible.
The more you the correct buttons in sync with the music, the higher your combo thus te higher your score.

A precision rating as well as your hits combo will eventually show up at top right corner of your screen.

Actually this homebrew is more like that korean psp game, in which this homebrew has the exact same controls.

    Hi there [IMG]
Thanks for trying my homebrew [IMG]

it's using modified midi files. They are modified with a realistic sound engine, the one from guitar pro 5
I use it to record guitar sounds and piano.

you need to apply dldi patch to use this game if your card is not natively supported ( didn't need to do it with my supercard cf)

    here is a new release

with english/french languages and some improvements [IMG]

Yes, I applied the DLDI patch, maybe I need to tinker w/ the settings?
    Or use the .gba.nds 1?

For the admin : could be a good idea to update the link with the latest version

    Edit :
I forgot to mention : the orignal PSP game is actually based itself on Konami games like Beatmania or Guitar Freaks, much more than on Ouendan anyway ^^
