so sd gecko and sd2sp2 have the same bus speeds?

main perk is this is internal and tucked away and frees up a memory card slot.. but otherwise the same? and performance enhancements still being done via Swiss updates?

I think ill stick with wii/Wii U then, but I love seeing the gamecube get more love. and an 'ODE' if you want to call this that, for cheap

Is this wired to Serial Port 2 or just to the memory card points?

Hey, I plan on making a hard mod for DOL-101, is there any way you could help me locate where those traces go on your mother board? Or is Serial Port 2 functionality totally taken away from bios/firmware?

There's no BIOS. The IPL does nothing for running software.

Too expensive for me, I'm just trying to make cheap accessible mods, I've only just begun working with CPLD/FPGAs, so thats not going to be an option for me.

Ok, so that means one should be able to recreate the circuit on a PCB and hard wire it, no?
I wish I knew someone with an original to compare, if someone can take pictures, I'll send them some PCB's when its done.

    Just to let you know

This project is being sold at Mercadolivre, it's the brazilian eBay:

    https://produto.mercadolivre.com.br...mod-para-game-cube-adaptador-micro-sd2sp2-_JM

He's not selling the sd2sp2 board. He's selling only the project. And he's using the photos published here.

He is even using the OP's writing translated to portuguese:

"I made a schematic a few days go and got it working based on the pin out of the SD2SP2, an alternative for those that just have this stuff laying around and obviously already know how to solder. i need to order some 22uf capacitors had to kinda "improvise" one."

    Can I use a 6,3v cap instead of 10v?
