    Thanks for pointing that out.

I'm trying to compile a UK list for the Tools Supplies wiki page based on UK electronics shops, but am having some troubles... anyway heres my makeshift WIP shopping list so far:

Hmm any ideas what resistor value is needed for orange LEDs on the chip?

Thanks to: arctic_flame for verifying some of the info above.

Have you thought about flashing your chip with the Wiikey hex?

This is a thread about gathering the hardware parts, why are you recommending a hex here?

About the capacitor: That will do nicely for the chip, but not the programmer. The programmer needs a larger capacitance capacitor, if you get my drift.

Edit: for wire, I strongly recommend Kynar? wire, It costs virtually nothing to: http://www.bitsbox.co.uk/cable/cable.html#Kynar

    Arctic Flame: YHPM

And yes, the wire he suggested is good stuff..although i used just any ol' 30awg wire... and it was fairly easy.
