Hacking Dismantling a MML

I have a max media launcher and i want to enable sleep mode by soldering pins 1 and 7, how do i open the cart without breaking it permanantly.

I think that you have to solder the connections on your DS, not your passcard.
I would just pick up a 3USD Dummy Card from DealExtreme.com or buy a real game.

You can solder your NoPass or DS. It works the same.

Coming into this a little late, but looking at my own MML, it seems impossible to take apart, as it seems like they sealed one side of it somehow, either with glue or with heat. I'd say flash your DS instead and put an actual cart or dummy cart in (as was suggested before). Or you could swap in a cart without flashing, but that's kind of a pain to do every time.

Get thumb tack and pop it in a crease it can get in then push it in more (don't hit the chip though) when its in enough slide the thumb tack around all of the mml and you should be able to pop it open
