Hardware Disk Read Errors

Hi,

I have a Wii NTSC-U with Wiinja V2 with the firmware updated.

The problems I'm facing is that I'm getting read errors sometimes with my copies.

I'm using:
DVD-R Vervbatim
4X Record Speed
Nero Burning Rom 7.5.8.0
Recorder: Asus 1814BLT Sata LoghtScribe

I copied around 12 games.
I had problems with Paper Mario (Sometimes I have to put in and out the game many times) and MK (Same problem and DiskReadErrors during game with one of the DVDs)

But my big problem cames with Metroid Prime Corruption.

I was not able to make it work.
The game loads, and when it is showing the little intro, it throws disk read errors.
If I pass that part and go to the options, I get the same problem, a Read error at a random time.

I've tested with different formats and also with CloneDVD.

I don't know if the problem is the recorder or the Wii/Wiinja, the checksum of the image is OK.

Any idea.

I think this can be 2 things, either your burner or your Wii

I use verbatim +R and burn with nero @ 8x, NEVER had a DRE

The first thing I would try is burn a copy at a friend or relative and try it, you could also try burning @ 8x or 2x. If that doesnt do the trick open up your wii and check your connections.

I'll try using copies of a friend.

Is there a chance for the wiinja v2 to be the problem?

I had no problems with around 12 titles out of 15
As an example, I played Boogie with no problems.
