Ok, you know how the light on the disk turns on only temporarily, I was wondering if anyone knows the voltage that light is running at, it may be possible to cut the lead and solder it onto a lead of the same voltage that is constantly running, thus keeping the Wii light on forever.... FOOORRRREEEEEVVVEEEERRRRR!

Yah, it is my favorite part of the console, in fact, if the LED's aren't the tincy weency ones, I will try to change mine to red or something, lol.

Anyway, has any real hacking begun yet? I think that the route that should be taken with this console is hardware, not a software exploit. Maybe the DVD Firmware hack will work as it did on the xbox and 360, or maybe Nintendo patched against this problem.

Having them stay on constantly would be cool but having them continuously pulse like they do when you have a new message from someone would be even better. [IMG]

Now I'm going to reply to a 1.5 year thread...

I hate that silly light, it was neat at first but when it flashes for a message or fw update or such... really annoying when you're trying to sleep.
