PS1/2 Disgaea 2

Does anyone in here play it? or even heard of it?

It's really addicting and hard in some spots but it has to have one of the most indepth battle systems I've seen.

Played both the PS2 games, there very very good SRPG with lots of originality for the genre. The art style is excellent but the story, world, theme and characters are a bit quirky and niche, so not many people outside of hardcore gamers, or anything more than casual gamers have heard of them.
Really looking forward to the PSP version it also looks great. Tactics games fit the PSP perfectly imo.

Pretty good game yeah, quite like the Disgaea series. There was talk of a DS version a while back but nothing came of it.

I'm waiting for the PSP ver. I heard a while back ago that you an easily put more than 400 hours in the game as your characters aren't restricted to the max. 99 leveling.

The PSP ver. will also come with an alternate story, what if the Prince would never awake!

I truly hope it sells for NIS to release part 2 in engrish on PSP too.

When Disgaea was released a couple of other games from NIS were out too:

La Pucelle: Tactics
Phantom Brave

Both are SRPGs. Look for those too.
