disable background music

    Is there a way to disable background music in games that dont have an option for that?

    In particular mario kart wii, since I'm sure its not via a method that would work the same for several games. Unless it's something as simple as deleting the music files from the iso or anything like that xD

    I'm using a usb loader on a softmodded wii.

    I tried searching for a while but didnt find anything even nearly addressing this

    btw: is this the right subforum or should i have posted it in the backup loader section?

    Press the "- Volume" button on your TV-Remote.

    You can replace the music in Mario Kart Wii. If you want silence, then replace it with silent audio. There are tutorials around for this sort of thing. I've seen a couple at other sites, but I'm sure there'd be one here as well. There's a MKWii BRSAR patcher out there too to help with looping music and such.
