iv tryed dios mios lite via the old installer and the new wad install and i cant get it working. it either goes to black screen or GCLoader and freezes on "loading boot.dol"

iv tryed with diosmiosbooter and neogamma

iv now got loads of compressed gamecube iso files....is there a dios mios alternitive?

your choices are

1.swiss
2.waiting for devolution
3.using discs
4.trying to figure out where you went wrong with dml

yea, the SD card is def ok, even had 2 games working at one point (animal crossing and wind waker)

i found the gcm files wouldnt work but when i tryed full iso's in dmlbooter both played, i then added another iso and none worked!

im pretty sure when they did work it was with the old dml installer, it didnt go to the GCLoader screen at all, just straight from the booter to game but since then iv tryed after installing the new wad and then back via the old installer and neither help

any game i believe for swiss, on the wii it is only used as a means to tell the console the disc lid is closed

Try downloading the DML Booter and enabling the old boot mode in the options if you haven't already.

just tryed that and it does the same as it usually does, the video signal stops. tv shows "no video available" but green light is still on the wii and it needs to be reset at power.

the only other screen iv seen is the GCloader sceen with the nintendo and gc logos. that one freezes on "loading .boot" or ".dol" something similar

dml booter sees the games, neogamma wont even show them-says no games found!

just tryed the cfg loader boot.dol file. it shows all the games but then does the same as booter, looses video signal and crashes wii :(

***weird, either after using the cfg boot file or some of the swiss files dmlbooter now sees all the game folders (before i had to move iso files into sd>games>game.iso It also doesnt freeze the wii anymore, it sounds like it wants to start but reboots me back to wii menu****

***cfg loader now also does the resetting thing instead of the crash it used to do!***

why not give discex a try and see if that works for you...only other thing i can think of if your gamecube iso's are naff, you could try using dolphin on a pc just to see if the games boot if you want to be sure

but defo had animal crossing and wind waker working (although they were created with discex). will try again

just tryed it with the same animal crossing file i used that worked previously. does the same thing, trys to load, disc drive flashes blue for a second and reboots to wii menu :(
