so run into any problems or anything of the ilk with the game?
Not lately, we had some that held us up for months, but then CompCom volunteered to rewrite the insertion tools that we were using, and everything has been fine since then. If you head over to the blog later today (tomorrow at the latest) we'll be posting a let's play of a portion of the game.

It's in the first post, but here's a link to the blog:

Let me know when you've completed it. I'm playing the Japanese version and I'm quite fond of it already because I played Digimon World for PS1. Similar dynamics, greatly improved system. I just really wanna know the story more in-depth

Will do, I'll announce in the thread, update the first post, and of course, it will be on the blog. I'd expect at least two more months at least before we're finished.

If you're looking for any help, I speak, read and write fluent Japanese. Also born in the states and in my last year of college for journalism. Not only could I help finish the translation I could also go through every line and make sure that it's all applicable to an American/English audience.

That would be great. You can contact me on Skype at sporkymcforkinspoon. We ask everyone to translate or edit a sample before giving them full access to our files, but if you're fluent then I'm sure you'll do fine.

There has been a LOT of progress since you guys started and I know you guys get this a lot but do you have any idea how much longer it will take? Also how far (in %) would you guys say you are from the finish line? Rooting all the way.

If we published today, everything in the menu is done, and about the first fourth of the game is in pretty close to ready to release shape. Technically, we have at least a first draft on everything, but a lot of it isn't particularly pretty to read since the first draft was mostly done by Romsstar, who isn't a native English speaker. We also haven't put much priority on the NPCs yet, figuring the story is more important, so most of those are only rough translations, but we've got at least a first draft on all of those too. We're pretty sure we'll be done before Xmas, but I wouldn't want to call that a promise.
