Hey there, thx for your work. Sadly the script is not working for me, keeps crashing the switch. Any ideas, what I might have done wrong?
Followed the instructions and as soon as I enter the script on EdiZon (by pressing "-") it crashes.

It should work with them as well. I don't own the Switch version but from what I gathered the file format underlying file format hasn't changed between any port of the game, only the PC port added an extra layer of encryption.
For the life of me I'm unable to get this to work from either Switch to PC or PC to Switch. Using the --savedecrypt / --saveencrypt flags right? It looks like the Switch save is 32 bytes longer than a PC-decrypted save, if it helps any.

Hi, I'm using AnalogMan's script for the Steam version, but anytime I try any of the options, the save file becomes corrupted and won't open.
The editor itself doesn't report any errors and seems to run fine, so I'm unsure what I'm doing wrong here, could anyone offer assistance in what I should do?
I'm trying for the accessories mainly in Hackers Memory, I can't be bothered to grind for the coins.

I get "Error: source path is not a regular file." when using this on a save from Steam. Both slot_000X.bin and 000X.bin were tested with the same result.

That error should only happen when the given source file is a directory (or generally not a proper file), so it should be something with your inputs. E.g. make sure you have not trailing path separator (\ or / depending on your OS) at the end of the path.

I put the executable and 0000.bin in the same folder ("C:\DSCS"), created a folder within ("C:\DSCS\output"), opened an Admin Command Prompt, typed "cd C:\DSCS", then typed "DSCSTools.exe --savedecrypt C:\DSCS\0000.bin C:\DSCS\output\" and pressed enter, and I get the error.
Typing "DSCSTools.exe --savedecrypt 0000.bin C:\DSCS\output\" does nothing as well (no files appear in the designated directory, even though no errors occur in the program).

@Veho, That's why I don't really care about having everything new new anymore as long as it does its job on what you want it to most new devices just brag about having bigger dicks than their last one
If anything capacities get lowered, tolerances get lowered because electronics control them for at least the warranty period and don't need to have as much safety factor...
Nah I normally go walking and find ones people chuck out that are "broken" or "old" and grab those before running all the way home very pleased with myself
