To be honest i wish my vita had a wider screen, i am not sure of the resolution of the VITA or 3DS is but i think both should be least 720X480 Or a bit bigger. The vita is 544P or something, i think it claims to have HD but that dumb. the Top screen of 3DS is like 400x240 which is just pathethic. Hard to make 3D games look good. Only 2D games should be used on such low resolution. That why only 2D sprite games look so well compared to some 3D polygon based ones.

*Turns on fanboi voice*Whatever, they both still suck. 720x480 is still moderately okay. I don't really know much about the aspect ratio of things. Except old school is 4x3 and HD new is 16:9 But Standard Deph is like 720x480 wides screen 16:9 So pathetic how 3DS isn't even close to PS vita. I even with the XL model. If the screen was just maybe 2 inches or 3 bigger for both consoles, and can least get 600P that be good enough.
