Gaming Difference between 3DS and DS games (Hotel Transylvaina, Wreck It Ralph)

Is there any difference between 3DS and DS versions of games?

Hotel Transylvania, Wreck it Ralph, Adventure Time, Moshi Monsters Theme Park...?

the quality of the ds version of Adventure Time is very bad. basically it's just a scaled down version of the 3ds game.

Mainly replying so I can find the thread again. Consider me interested in helping out with a list- I followed the end of the GBA and rise of the DS with an eye to seeing what was better where (and it was certainly not always the DS) and I am up for doing it with the end of the DS and rise of the 3ds.
