Hacking Did I get a fake R4 card?

Hey guys so I recently bought an R4 card from http://www.r4-usa.com/

and I have tried so many kernels but always get the error: "can't find _dsmenu.dat"

I am totally new to this so I'm not sure what's going on.

I was told this site is legit from one of the people on gbatemp chatroom.

Great start to NDS homebrew. thank god it was only $20 and not $30+

I'm still wanting to get a legit card. Is there any ACTUAL US supplier?

get hem from trusted sellers like nds-card.com or realhotstuff.com (realhotstuff is from USA)

btw. go here http://www.r4isdhc.com.cn/download.asp

check which card is yours and download the kernel, and copy to the sd card

even if its a fake, the kernel\firmware from his website MUST work

make sure to select the right card on the list

there are thousans of r4 etc cards if i am not wrong they do all have their own firmware\kernell..

You'd better go to r4ids.cn official website to find the retail sellers from there.
