I'm just curious if anyone else had fun with the demo. I think the game is fun and has potential. But I didn't really enjoy the demo. Everyone I played with never had more than 3 bars, and when i start, it goes to red. Another thing is just that is online, if it just had vs CPU or even local multiplayer with doubles and access to the simple mode, i think it would have been a better demo. I already complained about how Nintendo keeps doing "Online Demos" and I still stand by it.

It's nice that it has online, but after timed event is over, allow the demo to still be played like the Blazblue Cross Tag demo. If you aren't calling it a "Online beta stress server test" or whatever people commonly call it, then don't make it play like one. Also don't make demos with unlockable characters, have all the characters in the demo playable. It's discouraging to not have access to your favorite character in a setting that is time limited and requires you to unlock it.

I think the game looks amazing, it runs well, feels responsive, nice additions to make game fun and the presentation is top notch Nintendo quality as usual. But I hope the feedback from online tournament helps improve the online mode. Like having a option to search for players with 3 bars or above like other games do. I hope the single player is good and others will have it so I can have someone to play with, if your internet is good. :)

Enjoyed the fuck out of it and pre-ordered it after trying a few games.

Really brings me back to the 64 and Gamecube versions, and even the power memes are kind of fun and quite balanced.

I mean the first thing is that the demo did have a vs CPU mode. Even if the CPU wasn't particularly great, the option was on the menu. All in all though, I had a great time playing the demo. A little sad I didn't really get to play much on the second or third day of it, but you can see my stats from what I played below if anybody's interested. What I did notice though is that the connection quality was drastically worse after America was added to the demo (I think there was seven or so hours between EU start time and America start time) so hopefully Nintendo have seen what needs doing to get the online working well for the final release.

What the fuck kind of shit are you smoking up your ass? Hacking exists cause you don't enjoy games? Absolute flawless logic!

It's my favorite Mario Tennis game since the N64 version, which is saying a lot. Can't wait to see all the courts and play online obsessively, definitely gonna pre-order for $48. A new Mario Strikers game on Switch would also be an instant purchase.

I enjoyed it a lot! I really like that they brought back the color coded swings and counter swing mechanics from the 3ds version, but I'm not in a rush to get it because I'll be too busy playing Blazblue Cross Tag Battle since I found this really cool local community in my area to play competitively with so I'll mostly be playing that, maybe ill pick it up two months from now or even later

for me this game is so bad :/

I like tennis games and it doesn't need to be super realistic but this is just ridiculous, they try as much as possible to make it "cool" and maybe for some kids it is cool but not for me

I know what you mean, I'm usually the same, but did you actually try it?
Also, the game has a normal mode without the memes, just like Smash has items, but for glory mode too.

Of course I tried, else I would not write that I don't like it and would say "I would probably not like it"

the "tutorial" was a little bit annoying but "okay" till they started with the super moves (I was slightly positive surprised) but then it all went down the drain, those special jumps and slow motion suck so bad and playing online was even worse.

The game was hardly playable at all ... after getting used to the incredible lagging it was more or less playable but no fun at all

Lol, what? Had you never played a Mario Tennis game before? Why would they try to shoehorn in realism when the mechanics are all solid and consistent? I really have no idea what you're on about with the "cool" thing, either. The tracer lines indicate which kind of spin/power is put on the ball after each hit, they've been in the game from the beginning and they obviously serve a purpose beyond "coolness."

He is referring to the power memes without a doubt (zone shot, trick shot etc) and I can see where he is coming from. The games really don't need all that shit to be good. Hey, I even enjoy them this time around, but I really do agree with him that it really feels like Ninty are forcing a lot of this shit and really try to just make it look "cool".

If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction

You either need to be intubated to bypass obstruction or create a stoma inferior to the the area of obstruction to survive
