They're ... well, they're exactly what they said they would be. Cool little set to have, but I can't help wondering why this was the best they could do. Still, it was free, and I'd rather have this than a calendar.

Behold, the 2011 Platinum reward ....

We have a Platinum and Gold (lesser) status. The annual Gold reward is typically a calendar, but the Platinum reward changes. Those are are little round pin badges, about 1 inch / 2.5cm diameter each. Cool if you wear suspenders covered with buttons, I guess.

TehSkull, I agree these buttons aren't exactly impressive as schwag goes. Even this little keychain I got for preordering SM3DL looks classier.

I got the email a while ago and still have not received mine. The club nintendo site is taking so long to load and I can not access my account after finally getting logged in.

you buy games and you enter the serial numbers into the website in your account. the more you do this the more coins( points) you get. if you reach 150 you get gold. 200 is for platinum. ive been doing this for 2 years! if you reace gold or platinum status, you can get fee stuff from nintendo. basically their way of showing you thanks for "spending around 2 to3 bills on games, and now we will give you some next shit made by little kids in china!" ( no offense)

Nice collectors items for the Nintendo fanboys.

This right here is kindle. (It's also a good way to get a bunch of cash, by selling it to them. ;D)

By the way, what does achieving Gold status do exactly?

Gets you a lesser value prize than Platnium members. (They got calendars two years in a row.)

Do we need to achieve Gold status in a certain time frame to receive the reward?
Because I've achieved Gold status today.
