Hacking Did a recent update add language select to the keyboard or was it always there?

I just noticed today on the keyboard that there's an option to change between English, Spanish, etc. Has it always been this way? I wonder because I have access to emuNAND, so perhaps if this is something new, we could get Asian keyboards on English Firmwares with a hack.
