Via the unveiling of its official website, Bandai Namco has revealed that Detective Conan will be snooping back onto the Nintendo DS in 2008. Unlike the first title (which was a compilation of Brain Training-esque mini-games), the sequel looks like it will offer a more substantial gaming affair.
Wiiz reports on the very little detail about Detective Conan 2 that we have so far. Google’s ropey translation of the French-based website tells us that it will be a game of “7 mistakes”. Whatever that means, we’re just glad that Namco Bandai have deviated away from their last effort.
Playable by up to four gamers via the Nintendo Wi-Fi connection, Detective Conan 2 is scheduled for release in Japan next spring.
