Homebrew DeSmuME Wii - DS Emulator for Wii in development.

the only problem with the black background or any stationary background is burn in for plasma users. is there any way to stop this from happening ? i get alot of ghosting after i play it for a while. isnt it against the rules to upload that stuff here?

Was jsut thinking about that yesterday. Probably not appropriate to do right now as we need to conserve memory and a background image is gonna be around 2MB. Having said that, anyone is free to make one. Dimensions must be 640x480. I can make PNG or JPG images work.

NSMB is actually partially playable in the latest rev now along with a few other games listed as error in the list. In fact, anything that gave a code dump should be playable now.

I would be interested to know if any pokemon games finally work in the latest revision or if they just freeze (if they freeze, you can still exit the emulator)

I just tested out the emulator for the first time. It was awesome. Yoshi's island ds runs great. I have very high hopes for this project. I salute you OArikadoO

Looks nice, little idea. Can you add a skin later on(why not a DS?) so "split" the screens. Then you won't notice "devide" in the screen.

i just tested warioware DIY and it appears to work, i just cant get through the menus because i can't see where the stylus is.

just tested that game and it shows the nintendo logo fades to black and then crashes. did the same thing on on r68
edit: mine was EU rom

Alright, I updated the download to r77.

It fixes the classic controller. Sorry, I broke it when I added gamecube controller.

It also contains all of the 3D work I did today. So 3D games will no longer crash, they're just really hard to play since most 3D won't render.

I currently am not aware of any ROMs that give a code dump any more. At worst, ROMs freeze but you can still exit the emulator by pressing HOME on the Wiimote or Z on the Gamecube controller.

Phoenix Wright games are all more than playable now. Not sure about the Apollo or Edgeworth games.

+1 I think this the way to, either that or an option for full screen with boarders.

This will prolly be 100% fullspeed on most games before we know it.

i see someone added the compatibility list to the wiibrew page. is it the same one as i made? or is it just forwared to the gba one?

i mean like if someone updates the one i made on gbatemp will it get updated on wiibrew? or do u have to update both?

on r77 brain age, pokemon platunum, and chrono trigger still crash in the same places. mario64 DS got to the touch to start screen, but i couldn't see the star you have to touch or where the stylus is.
