Nah, I never lost Omaha Hold'em against my friends. But I win Texas Hold'em only occasionally. I frequently be one of the last 2 man standing, but for some reason whenever I all in, river always favors the other guy.
(Strange. One time I all-ined with 6,7 Spades, the other guy A,J Hearts. Flop was 4,K spades and 8 hearts, turn 7 hearts, and river 10 hearts. The other time I all-ined with pocket A, my friend pocket 5, flop and turn had two 9s don't remember the other two, but river was 5)
I will definitely own people with skill heavy games, but I take luck games (Dice games. Say, in Monopoly strategically buying lands so you have monopoly over 3 areas is skill but that doesn't make you a winner if you rolled something and ended up in Boardwalk with Hotel, and next turn your chance card is "Advance to Boardwalk") lightly.
If I got lucky and won, I'm happy. If not, it's okay because I was just unlucky, it's not that I sucked at it. So no big deal
Also I don't feel the necessary to compete over making money. My friend is 28 and he made a million $(profit) doing stocks, I did stocks for several years and made 9 thousand $, I don't feel that I want to make million bucks in next 6 years just to own him.
Ah I'm so not organized screw it. Yeah I'm not really good at writing so I don't compete to write better articles than someone.
