Nintendo and clothing company Uniqlo have come together asking for a "Nintendo themed" T-shirt design. First prize is a Shigeru Miyamoto autographed NX console, $10,000 USD and an award ceremony where you will meet Shigeru Miyamoto. There are unlimited entries so enter as many times as you like. Was reading the Q and A... Everything seemed awesome except the part where it says that creators will have to pay to produce! Rip what does that mean? Are they gonna charge you if you win?????

It only says the winners have to pay for their meals and passport (should they not have it already) and for any kind of transportation not included in the tour.

Most likely only refers to whatever materials/software you use to create the design, not actually manufacturing the T-shirt itself as that's UNIQLO's job.

I think that meant that you have pay for things you use to produce it, so paper, pencils, software ect.

Ugh. The one time Nintendo doesn't limit a competition to North America and Canada (but no Quebec for whatever reason) I can't even enter since I stopped drawing during my childhood.
