Demonoid

I recently got a demonoid invite of a friend of mine (thank you James

). But my ratio hasn't changed on there since I have started there 3 days ago. All I can think of is that since their site isn't fully up yet it might not be reading my comp properly or I have heard that Ktorrent and Demonoid do not get on well together. I don't want to get banned for not seeding when I actually do

No problems with my ratio getting updated.

You may wanna get something better than ktorrent or look at what settings you are using. I use uTorrent and never had ratio troubles.

I was using uTorrent before I upgraded to Ubuntu. I will see how it handles with WINE. How many days before I get banned for not seeding at all,hadrian?

EDIT- uTorrent works fine under WINE. Thanks for the help hadrian

I think if you drop below 0.30 you get banned.

They do give you time to bump up if you do get down there. If you "donate" 5 USD they bring your ratio up to 1.0 for a month.

I migrated my torrents and their files to uTorrent . Will demonoid read the torrents still or will I have to re download the torrents(What I mean is, will my ratio get upped now)?

I'm not sure but its always different when I check it, and seems correct when I check it against what I've downloaded/uploaded, give or take a few megs here and there. Just grabbed South Park this morning and my stats has changed when I've checked it a minute ago.
