Hacking Deleting Nintendo Channel

I do not need the Vote channel
the news channel
the forecast channel
the shop channel

but the Opera Channel is staying for now

any ideas on how to remove them and free up some space?

Um Maybe try the wad UnInstaller but I think you need the wads for that.

That's.. like basic knowledge o.O
just go into the data management, and delete them (forecast,shop,and news channel aint removable, though, i think they are removable by uninstalling them with WADs, they don't take up much space though,and you'll need the shop channel anyway..)

Vote channel can be deleted in your Save's menu, there are WADs for the News/Forecast Channels (but if you load SSBB or MKW, it will reinstall them). Shop channel cannot be deleted.

here is the names of the titles

HAAA photochannel
HABA shopping channel
HACA nigaorNR? mii channel
HAFA weather channel
HAGA news channel

just make a wad VC channel with them titles as the ticket name(theres a guide somewhere on how to change the title.tmd name) then use wadmanager to uninstall them, it should work, havent tried, so im not sure about the security on them

Linkinworm, yes, those are the correct titles... but if you play any disc that has an update on it (SSBB, MKW for instance) it will force you to update, and will reinstall those channels

very true, he can delete them but they will return on updates yes, i have no solution for that unless you were running scrubbed games,

If you make a WAD without the app files and just the ticket, it'll only install the ticket. When an update goes to check for the channel, it'll appear installed.

But you'll only save about 30MB in total, which is only about three SNES games.



As far as removing the shop channel is concerned, it can be done, but it's only going to save another 12MB...

Where do i get the .WAD of all of these channel?
